mac mini, synology, plex, .iso, home media server

I have DVDs backed up in .iso format stored on synology 410j NAS, gbit LAN, set up to run plex on mac mini's at each tv. Video is choppy.

Ran LAN speed test and get 155mbps writing to NAS and 345mpbs reading from NAS.

Any thoughts/help on why my video is choppy? I have run a similar config once before and did not have this issue, but was on a smaller scale.

I'd guess your Mini's struggling to display the content as you have it encoded. Which Mini is it? Is Plex setup to hardware accelerate the video?

How do I activate acceleration in plex? or do I need to do it on the mac mini?
The mini is an early 2011 version
