I'm having a heck of a time figuring out the DNS server configuration. I've noticed that Server Admin sets the SOA as whatever you name the zone. For example, if you zone is:

domain1.com

And you add that as a Primary Zone, the OS X builds the zone file with the SOA set to "domain1.com". This dictates that there also be an A record for this entry as well. Doing so requires that this "domain1.com" entry is the primary name server entry.

So does OS X build the zone file in this manner? Its a pain in the butt.
