Pretty much, I extracted the Earth picture from the space screensaver and then merged it with the picture of that bluish starfield. That black space seemed too empty to me.

ummmmmmmm

is it just me or is it NOT october yet??

if we are going to have one of these every month, which seems to be the case, the thread needs to be opened by a mod modded like so:

1) start the thread a few days early, naming the rules that are always the same

2) LOCK the thread until 12AM the first of the month in whatever time zone you deem appropriate

3) delete all other threads created that month that are redundant (warning in the first post of the official thread)

We could do that sparkleytone, but what really good reason would we have?

They've been doing fine being made by the users. It will be October in a few days so we may as well start early.

Besides, we don't want to end up in an insane dictatorship run by eyelikeart :p

I got Fireworks and FreeHand 10...

I also got Illustrator..(all from my school. :D )

Is Fireworks Macromedia's answer to Photoshop? What's the difference between FreeHand and Illustrator...

I'm obviously very new to the Macromedia apps...

Fireworks is Macromedia's answer to Adobe's ImageReady...

Freehand & Illustrator are both illustration/vector programs...each offers different features...but essentially they both serve the same purpose...

personally...I'm a Macromedia fan...I've been using Freehand for quite a few years now...and am learning Fireworks quite well... ;)

Man, sucks big time! How old is your iBook? I would have to say that is not a very fair way to run a buisness.

"Oh, by the way this needed fixing, so it is done and we will send you a bill."

that is crap!

sparkleytone
Oct 1, 2002, 02:18 PM
still less than a year old. it was within warranty for what i took it in for, and suddenly i get it back and its basically got a whole new casing. the mouse button now sticks and makes noises. the latch is fixed tho lol. i just really hope its not gonna be a big hassle, because i just wont pay.

Photoshop is for image processing and editing, its much more feature full than ImageReady which used to animate gifs, create web graphics and rollovers, etc. I usually import images from photoshop into Image Ready to create the ads and tars.

I actually didn't really want to do all the work and scan in the cover and PS it and all that stuff... but there just aren't any pictures with that logo anywhere... but since KC didn't have anything either, I had to do it myself

But hey, I saw your signature... Korn 's a great band, too :)
