iPod acting up

I have noticed if I put files on my iPod then take them off the free space remains the same. :(

Do you put them in the Trash AND empty the trash?

Try a restore on the iPod?

Try reconnecting your iPod to your computer, then empty the trash.

As others have said. When you delete things from an external device the contents will disappear. The contents are just put in the trash and space is still filled on your external disk. Once you empty the trash your free space numbers should reflect the removal of the files.

I reconnected the iPod then emptyed the trash...and it works. :D
