This headline is terribly misleading. Creative isn't taking anything from Apple in Australia, because Apple hasn't opened an iTunes store there yet.

I'll be interested to see how Creative's store fares when Apple finally gets around to entering that market. Then we'll see who is eating whose pie.

You are right and it's even more than just a misleading headline. The content has errors. This creative store is far from the first in Australia.
