miles01110 macrumors Core Aug 4, 2011 #2 Then glue your wireless router right in the center of the screen. Honestly, you are wasting your time. If you are really concerned about having a steady connection, hardwire it to one of the ethernet ports.

blueroom macrumors 603 Aug 4, 2011 #4 It's more a distance thing then a sweet spot thing. iFixit.com shows iMacs opened up and the location of the antennas. Since you're concerned with speed no WiFi connection can compete with a wired Gigabit connection.
