Hi all,

I'm about to make the switch to the Mac. I am a web programmer who currently uses Homesite 5.5 (Macromedia) on a Win machine.

Is there comparible software for the Mac? They don't make Homesite for the Mac and I don't really need or want to spend all the money for Dreamweaver (which comes with a version of Homesite)

Any good suggestions?

Thanks,
Martin

Taco HTML edit (http://tacosw.com/htmledit/download.php) is free... :)

And use TextWrangler (http://www.barebones.com/products/textwrangler/) if you need a text editor, it's freeware, too...

You don't need anything else... ;)

I use Taco for all my sites as well. It's really good, especially now that it has projects.

Thanks for the input! Does Taco support color coding for ASP pages?

Thanks again!

Seems like Taco supports colour tags in asp, yes... you can actually set .asp as default file ending when saving new files...

(It works best with php, though... which you can preview in Taco... awsome... ;))
