After the headache of dealing with my parents' computer (bought from Best Buy) it now seems to have finally bit it for good. I am anxious to drop that thing into a woodchipper somewhere and flee to Apple to get a Mac Mini on the double.
Since my folks are frugal though, they'll only accept the entry level $600 mini, which I think has enough power for their needs, but I'm wondering if I should get 4GB instead of 2GB? They'd be using the computer for web surfing, games like Cubis, watching Netflix and Hulu (I'll be getting a TV tuner card so they can watch TV Fios as well._ I looked at the Intel graphics and it seems to have more than enough power to push HD quality video, so the memory is the only thing I'm concerned with.
Can't wait, been trying to get us Mac only for a while and now I finally have a chance.
