True that it is, but most of your content would be coming from inside your house (from iTunes) and not through the internet. Streaming speed would only matter for Netflix and loading up Youtube and Vimeo videos.

That being said I have slower speeds than you and have no trouble streaming Netflix HD programming.

That is many times faster than necessary than anything currently available to stream off of the internet. Around 5 mbps is adequate for just about anything out there. I get around 5-8 with my wireless connection.

That's more than enough. I get 1.5mbs on mine and I have no issues. I stream all the time from Netflix and MLB.TV.
