Do anybody know how to create hotspot after upgrading OS X lion, mine doesn't seem to work even the airport feature can't be enabled. :(

You can still create an ad-hoc computer-to-computer network using the drop down menu on the Airport's menu bar icon... just like always. If you want to share your internet connection (i.e. "create a hotspot"), you can enable Internet Sharing under System Preferences->Sharing... just like always.

Did you previously use a different method under previous versions of OS X?

On my father's MBP late 2009 upgraded to Lion it doesn't work. You give the "create network" command and nothing happens, the AirPort stays connected to the original wlan it was connected to.

I don't need to share a connection, i just need this to be able to use the Remote App on my iPod for controlling iTunes at my sister's wedding tomorrow.

I also tried to create a new user-account thinking that this machine is too messy, but no luck.
