I like to have my most recent message at the top of the list.

I can right click the mailbox and sort mail by date (descending) to make this happen. But it seems that Mac Mail in Lion often "forgets" this setting and I find myself having to redo this process often.

Anyone else noticing this? Any way to fix this?

Thanks

Have others here seen this? Shouldn't the default be newest mail on the top and oldest on the bottom? Can anyone with 10.7.1 or 10.7.2 pre-releases confirm if this is fixed?
Thanks!
