iPhone 4 genuine rear glass housing?

Hi,

Is anybody able to recommend a supplier of genuine rear iPhone4 glass (with camera lense etc) in the UK?

I've looked at a few on ebay which look to be too cheap to be genuine..

Dropped my phone on the pebbles at our local beach today 🙁

its hard to tell whats original quality online, if paying more makes you feel better ifixit sells it for more no idea about the quality though http://www.ifixit.com/iPhone-Parts/iPhone-4-Rear-Glass-Panel-GSM-ATT/IF182-002
 
what color are you looking for? I just had my iphone 4 swapped with red kit. I still have original parts. PM me if interested.
 
I have my genuine black back with the sticker still on it. I converted my phone to white right after it was replaced.

As far as supplier I'm not sure other than Apple.

Many of the ones you find are eBay are actually plastic
 
I want an extra one to strip the paint off to make it clear. I tried going to Apple, but they will only replace it for $30. Won't actually sell you an OEM back (not surprised)
 
Unless you know someone who has proof that they grabbed their replacements from the actual Apple assembly line, treat all the replacement backs out there as A quality. That means it's 98% genuine, but they miss out on the details for that other 2%. You can tell right away if you put a real one and a replacement side by side. Look at the spacing and the font of "iPhone" in the back.

Some people are ok with this, but some are not.

If you want genuine genuine, no other place to get them other than at Apple. $30 is relatively inexpensive for what you're getting.
 
Buy a fake one n put it on ur iphone!
Get the original out, then brake the fake one thats already on ur device and go to an apple store.. Wont they replace it for you ? You will pay but like this you wil have for sure the original one ! 😀
 
OP logs in everyday and posts on other threads but not here so I assume he has already found one or doesn't care anymore.
