Feedback for Macrumors OS X Theme

I like the new OS X theme but it has a few problems. For one some of the graphics seem frivilous and drag down render times. I also don't care for the "e" logo that shows up on the index page.

I like it better than the original theme that was available.

I think the "e" in the corner of the posts take the place of the generic vbulletin icon that showed whether or not the user was online.

I think that instead of the "e" logo there should be a OS X bullet button. The bullet could be aqua colored to indicate new posts or an online user. I also don't really like the OS X window bar that shows up in places.

Ummmm, am I missing something here?
It looks the same to me as it did before. Do you have to activate it or something?

Under Edit Options there is a menu right above the Avatar panel that says Select Theme or something like that.

The only complaint I have is the unread threads are in this really light blue so it's hard to tell if you've read them or not.

I stuck to the original theme...I just didn't care for the look of the OS X theme. I'm kinda getting tired of seeing Aqua everything, so this is nice for me. Plus, the OS X theme has a slower loading time then the original... ;)

Me, I actually like it. Maybe its because I don't have a mac yet, and I just added a Mac OS X theme for my windows xp at home. I dunno...it looks nice and clean I guess.

Oh yeah, and I'm on dial-up...I don't see much of a speed difference.

Well, I have been using it for a while, but have recently gone back to the old theme. The colors are easier on my old eyes. Not so much white. I do like it though, and with a little tweaking could be really sweet. I agree with Eye though. There is just way too much Aqua in the world right now.

i actually really like the new theme. it brightens it up a bit, and for me its just easier to read.

i can deal with a little bit slower rendering, and unless you are running on less than a pentium133 w/ linux and XFree at the moment, there shouldnt be much to complain about. i'm having to run this while me iBook is in repair :(

it just seems in general nice and clean, just like OS X. there are some icons i could do without, but i dont mind the "e". mostly i just dont like the folder with the red "+" .
