EDIT: sorry, my mac corrected "guard" in the title. i meant macbook pro.

i wanna know if my macbook pro will play the cod4 modern warfare from the app store.

2.2GHz i7
8gb ram
AMD Radeon HD 6750M (PCI-E) (1GB)
Intel HD Graphics 3000 (Built-in) (512MB)
750GB HD
Running OSX 10.7 (Lion)

i didn't see my graphics card in the "Supported Graphics Card" area in the system requirements, but i can't believe that it wouldn't include mine. its a decent card...anyway, any help would be nice. thanks.

It will work (google ftw), but the 3000 will be pretty bad for COD 4.

The integrated Intel GPU is not the primary one, the AMD Radeon is which is more then adequate to run a game like COD4 reasonably well. That said if it's not listed under recommended GPU's then it's best to check if someone else has tried it and got it to work. In theory even though it's not listed it should work as that AMD Radeon GPU is fairly new and has 1GB of VRAM.

i have been looking everywhere for someone else running this game with what i have, and i can't find anything. its $50 and i don't wanna download it just to find that i can't run it.

and yeah its a good GPU and should run the game nicely, but still...alot of money to spend and be wrong lol.

well, it's three years old game. it's still $49.99? are you crazy, seriously? it's sold only $19.99 at retail store. don't even get ripped off, please. just go to retail store or buy it on steam. at least $20 cheaper than that. windows version is much better. trust me.

i got $100 back to school card and nothing to spend it on. so to get it from the app store is technically free...when buying it on steam or at gamestop would cost me $20. anyway, have you tried it?

The only thing I can think of is to contact the developer and ask them. I'm not sure if it is Infinity Ward or Treyarch.

That is the game running on the MBP with 6490 so i have no doubt it will run fine on the 6750.

The reason your card is not listed is that the game was made over 3 years ago now and the graphics card didnt even exist then.

Every game will run on the 6750. My friend plays CoD4 on it under OS X and he says he runs it maxed out, so it'll be fine.

I have the computer u are talking about (screen is 1680x1050 though). And I run CoD4 in OSX 10.7 maxed out at 1280x800 with everything on except V-Sync and AA. All textures extra and filtering at max trilinear. I often get 100 fps, never drops below 40-30...

THIS WILL RUN
