Macbook trackpad problem

The cursor jumps around and in some places it straight up doesn't work. So I'm wondering how much is it to replace the trackpad, if it's not under warranty.

Depends on your model, where you get the trackpad, and who does the replacing.

I could tell you how much we would charge to do it, but that wouldn't be particularly informative.

Do you only have this problem sporadically? If so, it's probably just due to static electricity.
