Norton Security Suite Not Working

Hello, I have a virtual machine of Windows XP and was updated up to last week. Last year I had AVG FREE for security. A couple of weeks ago I installed Norton Security Suite, as my ISP gives me a free license. Today the Norton Suite is not running, I got a warning message from Windows indicating the the PC is vulnerable, and I cannot access the Norton Suite, the icons are there ,they show up in the Start Menu, but they do nothing when i click on them.
I installed the following afterwards, ran scans and nothing malicious was found:
Malwarebytes
Lavasoft Ad-aware
And Microsoft free security detection app
Any suggestions?
