Hey guys,

I'm just wondering if Apple would release PBs with the new 90nm chips by then.. what would you guys say? :D

Meanwhile they'd probably have worked out the kinks in Tiger by then... does sound perfect.. no? :o

Your asking us if 5 months from now will be a good time to get a new PowerBook? A lot can happen from now until then. Buy it when you need it.

Here's a recent, similar discussion (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=121181).

Buy it now, and they'll release a new PB in August. Wait, and a new PB won't come out for years. :D

For the record, I just bought mine in February and I love it!

If you aren't in need of the PowerBook now and want to wait, then go ahead. MacWorld Paris will occur in the August/September time frame. So if there isn't a PowerBook update at WWDC in June, then your timing should be perfect.
