I need to get a windows partition running on my MacBook Pro (a1226, late 2007), a regrettable side effect of my education. Unfortunately, after an encounter with a high-velocity object, my 10.6 install disk no longer works and bootcamp assistant returns an error when I tell it I need driver software. Factory restore disk is not an option either, new logic board. My 10.5 disk is still in fighting form, but I wasn't sure if that would be able to load drivers in windows 7, given that it was not supported until bootcamp 3.0.

Is there any hope for me?
