Help. Having a nightmare! :P

Hey everybody. Just got my hands on my powerbook. Its been running great except somehow I managed to type in the same wrong password twice when putting in the admin password. I cant install any software or anything! I know there must be some way of doing an erase and re-install to reset everything? Also, if I do this, will all the software that came with it still be there? Please help me out :eek: :D

Stick your Mac OS X installer disc in. It can reset the admin password for you. Somewhere in the Installer or Disk Utility menus in the versions of those programs on the disc.

Yes, in the Installler app menu there should be a choice along the lines of "Reset Administrator Key" when you boot off the restore disc that came with your PB.
