Just now I received a mail from Apple with the new version (for developers) to 10.7.2 which I downloaded yesterday (!) although the new 10.7.2 is called "combo" update, note like the one just for iCloud.

In the updated release notes seem not only to iCloud but emphasizes a number of things:

- AirPort

- AppKit

- Graphics Drivers

- Mac App Store

- Mail

- Spotlight

also the same readme source clarifies that it can installed on:

The OS X Lion 10.7.2 Update (Combo) updates

- OS X Lion 10.7 or 10.7.1 GM builds.

The build is the same as the previous one (11c40) but there is a difference in the name of the downloaded file

today is

osxlion_10.7.2_11c40_comboupdate.dmg

while the previous

os_x_lion_10.7.2_update_11c40.dmg

and the sizes are different.

Thetoday is 730.8 MB

while the previous 766.36MB.

Download the new package. Stay tuned ...

if you found something different please post.

Nope, no difference between the two. Wait, was there always a MobileMe preferencepane alongside iCloud?

Still have LaunchPad re-arranging my items every reboot (sometimes log off too)... maddening!!!!

Nope. Regular iCloud betas replaced it with iCloud prefpane.

Then iCoud beta 8 put it back because I have both and I could have sworn I only had iCloud before that. Not that I go into system preferences all that much.

I had a chance to play with it a little more. No noticeable difference at all. I'll continue to poke around.

I hope they don't make it a habit of updating builds without a build number change.

Quick question:
Does this new 10.7.2 combo update include all fixes included in 10.7.1?

Hmm, I can't seem to find this download. Where did the links end up taking you?

EDIT: Nevermind. I found it.
