Hi,
I have a number of aliases on my desktop for an encrypted file system and a few server shares. All something I use occasionally, but far from every day.
Now, every time I save something on the desktop (for example printing to a PDF) or open a file and go to the desktop, OS X accesses these aliases (at least the alias to the encrypted file system). Four or five windows pop up asking for the password, pressing cancel does not help. I suspect the OS queries the alias to work out which icon to display or something like that.
This did not happen with Snow Leopard.
As a temporary solution I have moved these aliases to a subfolder, but any better solution would be appreciated.
