I have just downloaded the lite version of the handwriting App, "7notes HD". I am still playing around with it but it appears to have huge potential. I understand this was previously on the iPhone and has just been released for the iPad.

I found this short clip which could probably explain the pros of the App better than I. Apparently the full version has handwriting to text capability, which you can not try out on the lite version, which is a shame.

At €7.99, in Europe anyway, it is not cheap when compared to some of the other, note taking Apps so I would be interested to see how others are finding the App be it the , lite or full version.

I tried it out (the lite version) and quickly deleted it. To me the UI felt very cluttered and complicated and without much polish. Combined with the fact that I couldn't even try the handwriting conversion (the one benefit I saw over the competition), I immediately decided to stick with the fantastic Noteshelf.
