Four of the keys don't work. Worked yesterday, other keys still work. Problem is two of the keys that are inoperable are part of my login password. Curious if there is an easy fix. Seems the only idea I have is buying a wired keyboard. Suggestions?

I know it's very basic, but did you replace the batteries? Unpair and repair? Restart your computer?
Yes. Also double-checked that batteries were brand new. Nothing has been spilled on it. The non-working keys are two on top of another two like this...

Seems like some type of permanent failure, yet thought someone may have an answer before the keyboard hits the trashcan. I will not replace it with the same. Not sure what I'll get, but something more economical. Any suggestions for a new one if it cannot be fixed?
