I'm not sure this story would survive intact through the language filters, so you're gonna have to read the link (http://www.billboardradiomonitor.com/radiomonitor/news/format/talk/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1000882749) for yourself.

Essentially, Rush Limbaugh said that Al Gore's new TV network, which is aimed at young people, is going to be all about oral sex.

Only he didn't say "oral sex". He used a, er, ah, different term. :D

(By the way, before anybody gets too excited -- besides you young people, I mean -- Gore's network is not going to be political. More's the pity.)

Anyway.

You gotta love Rush's comment, "I never apologize for what I say." That says a lot about the man. http://users.adelphia.net/~tjveil/images/yeahright.gif

Methinks Rush didn't get in on the BJ action in HS and it still smarts...

They're out there getting oral sex all day long, that's what they're talking about.

Hmmm...well, if I was getting oral sex all day long, I wouldn't have done anything else to talk about now, would I? So it's either talk about oral sex or talk about being sore!

Don't worry -- I have an iSkin on my keyboard! And with respect to the original subject, always remember, 'tis more blessed to give than to receive! :D

Well, I went to school during the administration of Rush's favorite president, Ronald Reagan, and I can confirm first hand that Clinton and Lewinski did not invent oral sex.

Have to love the irony when he refers to the FCC

My reaction is, somebody go ahead and turn me into the FCC. I'll be honored to be fined. It's just another government agency with its hand in my back pocket, so go right ahead.

Gives the impression that he doesn't like them much but it seems his core listeners are the first ones to complain to the FCC when a breast is (accidentally) shown or the f-word is uttered (after weeks of notice) on TV.

Yeah, but you should never talk with your mouth full anyway.

(just for emw), it's clear that, "Honey, not tonight, I'm sleepy! (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?p=1416930)" is not considered a valid excuse to get out of this when you don't feel like it. I wonder if saying you need to wash your hair tonight still works?

Man... this thread sucks...

And licks... and... (oh dear, I seem to have gone over my PG-13 public forum limits... oops.) :D

It really bothers me how the conservatives in this country are STILL essentially Puritans: "Cover your arms!" Repent! For your very life was made in sin!" What a bunch of ***holes.

Yo Rush!

Guess what I'm doing right now!!!

Hey, Maybe the implication here is that intelligent, thoughtful and compassionate Americans get laid more often, have better sex and have happier lives. Perhaps the Dems, the thirds, and the moderate Rebs should form the "Better Life Through Sex" Party. That's BLiTS I can appreciate! Talk about shock and Awe! I can see it now... Ads reminiscent of the old Think Different campaign but all about how the best politicians got laid the most. :D

I wish I was a high school student now. :D

Its been that way for a while. I have been out for ten years or so now and this was a favorite sport back then too. Very casual. So I don't think this is that new. But being in high school did have its benefits :D

I have some friends at school that would love that link. BJs are rampant at my school, but my lips are sealed (pun?). I remember watching Oprah w/ my grandmaw and words such as blowjob, tossing salad, and other tasteful words coming up. Needless to say it was quite awkward. :)

Limbaugh went on to blame former President Bill Clinton for making oral sex "the number one sport in high school today. "
Probably the funniest thing i've read all day.

hmm, it has been a while posting here...it seems the forum has been renamed...when did that come about?

To topic - As I received an error link trying to read the link posted, I can only guess as to the specific content, but all I could think of (besides good times past) was of the thread posted a few weeks/months back about the realtionship between the "abstinance pledges" by HS students as part of our enlightened sex-ed policy and the large jump in the % of students engaging in oral and anal sex, presumably as substitutes.

In any case, as the "land of the free", there are many who seem to take it upon themselves to take offense at those who take advantage of that right.

later.
