I am using the 45watt Magsafe that came with my i5 Air. Sometimes the light doesn't go on at all, and sometimes you can see the light like normal, and other times it glows very faintly. I know its charging because my indicator says charging. I have to unplug it and replug it for it to work. Even if you leave it alone for a few minutes it still doesn't come on.

This happens on my MacBook Pro too.
It's actually a bad sign. Every time this happens to me, it charger goes bad within 2 months.

Check the MagSafe connector on the cable and the computer to be sure they don't have lint or other debris in them. Make sure the spring-loaded pins are not stuck.
Otherwise ... take it in and have Apple take a look at it.
