So I'm creating a general-use recovery/OS install HDD. I've got my old HDD from my MacBook in an external enclosure with 4 partitions named Leopard Installer, Snow Leopard Installer, Lion Installer, and OS X Recovery. The last partition is an install of Snow Leopard with utilities to help troubleshoot, recover files, etc. The first 3 partitions are restores of the appropriate OS install disc. Now, when I hold option to boot from it and go to choose which partition to boot from, all the partitions are named correctly except for the Lion Installer one, it's simply named "Mac OS X". Any idea why the name isn't showing up properly? It's a small issue, to be sure. However, I'm thinking that in the future, when 10.8 comes out if I try to do the same thing I'll get two icons labeled "Mac OS X" and then I won't know which is which without going through the boot process.
