I'm here, but the place has been acting goofy lately, perhaps with all the rumors about and traffic, etc.

Yeah, the forums have been acting a little weird in the past few days, as iGary says. It doesn't seem to be browser-based problems either. :(

Seems like I'm offline, too... while viewing my profile being logged in... :confused:

The little green online "light" (under the user name in posts) seems to be working, though...

Yeah... on the front forums page peoples are being stated as Online whereas rummaging in their profile says they is off.


And I thought these people were just being shy. :o

Well you're apparently offline too. According to your profile at any rate. It's really weird that the profiles say offline while the little green lights remain illuminated.

Yup, I'm offline according to the profile, but online according to the radio button...

Very odd, I must be some kind of split personality....

I see dead people.

No, wait, that's not right. I see Offline people. Everyone's Offline, even me. This is in IE 6 SP-2 for Windows.

Strangely, the "last time you visited" part of the welcome note is accurate. It remember that I was in fact logged on last night, but it didn't seem to know it at the time.

Yep. When I look at my profile, I'm offline as well. I noticed this about a night or two ago and just shrugged my shoulders.

Yup, problem still seems to be there. I can see if people are on/off from the little green pips under their name in threads. But it shows offline when viewing profiles.

not to bring back a dead thread, but I've fixed this now. Sorry about it - it was getting on my nerves too. Apparently it happened by itself when we upgraded the forum software a little while back.
