Okay so I came up with this great unofficial contest today because I'm just utterly brilliant.

You make me an avatar, and if I decide I like it enough to make it my official avatar, I put it in my avatar space.

Yes. That's correct.

Just kidding. Winner gets $2.70 (to celebrate the new G5's) by means of PayPal for their troubles.

I want my avatar to be as big as it can be within forum limits.

No can do... I'm essentially paying the winner for the rights to use their creation if I pick it. It's not fair to do that.

To make it an interesting contest, wouldn't it be better to post the suggestions here...? And let you have first choice, if you find some you like, then let other scavenge the remains... ;)

If you want help designing an avatar, ask for it. This "contest" just seems like a way for you to power trip while you demand the "rights" to all submissions.

If you want to buy graphic design, you are going to have to do a lot better. If you want help from a generous community, ask for it appropriately.

I don't have any amitions as to win this contest, but I think it's fun to share avatars I made (mostly scaled and/or cropped with only minor touch-up), I don't even have a PayPal account, and I don't have any plans to get me one...
