Lion and time machine - fails.

This is consistent.

Starts - fails with an unknown error - suggests repair on drive - drive can't be repaired - drive is corrupted.

This is with the factory drive in an enclosure - I'd love to run AHT but can't as apple is too short sighted to offer it as a download. The same drive in the same enclosure can be cloned to with absolutely no issue.

Just another pain in the backside due to lion.
