Anyone having problems with their ATV2 and Home Share. Mine seems to disconnect for some reason and I have to reboot ATV2 to get it to work. Has anyone else run into this and if so how did you fix it? Also, it seems to affect air play too. Thanks.

I have the same problem. Netflix works fin but home sharing always drops out.
In my situation it drops out and iTunes freezes.
I have tried wireless and wired and it's the same issue.
There have been multiple threads about it here and at Apples forums.
I think it is an issue with iTunes or the firmware of the ATV2.

I really have never experienced this. However, I have assigned IP addresses on my APextreme for all of my connected devices in the home.
May want to assign fixed IP's OP, see if that helps. Also, make sure your iTunes Library server is on the exact same network as your tv, I.E. 5ghz vs 2.4ghz.

Well I had this problem once before and when Apple did an update to the ATV2 it fixed the problem. All my wired and wireless connections have a static address. So I guess I'm probably stuck until the ATV2 gets another update, because Home Share works on all of my computers without a problem.
