Where are the new eMac's!? My girlfriend has been waiting for months
to get one...I keep telling her to wait a while, they're going to update them.
I really thought today would be the time, alongside Tiger...

The rumor I made up is for May 18 since Amazon's last rebate ended the day before powermacs were speedbumped, their next rebate ends May 17 and there's a rumor of 10.4.1 coming out around then with stuff they couldn't put into today's release perhaps handling issues with consumer desktops.

I agree--"soon" is very likely.

And I think they're great machines--just in need of a feature boost or price drop :)

I hope they do update them soon - I'm more eager to get the eMac that
her! It's going to have a better processor and graphics card than my aging 800mhz iMac...mmmm, Halo action...

thinksecret says 1.42GHz G4 & ATI Radeon 9600 64MB on both models

edit: appleinsider says they'll be shipped to stores this week along with imacs. Maybe they'll be announced in time for Mother's Day.
