Hello, I'm new to Mac OS X. What is the best application to handle archives such as rar, zip, 7z, etc... on Mac OS?

One more question. I didn't want to open another thread. What do I do with CD/DVD images like iso, mdf, bin?

I used to mount them with Daemon Tools on Windows?

The Unarchiver has been decent for me.

The Unarchiver works well, on the Mac app store for free.

Also look at StuffIt -- if you just need to open files, the free StuffIt Expander is nice.

Not sure about mdf or bin, but .iso files open and mount just by double-clicking from Finder as far as I know.

Am I right in thinking you can mount ISO images with Disk Utility? Might be worth a google / mroogle...

Interesting discussion of mounting the ISO vs it being seen as an actual drive
