Thanks for perpetuating the assumption the being a "chick" means you can't know what you're doing on a computer.

I don't need to watch my mouth. It's a known abbreviation (RTFM), which is really accurate since most people don't even read the manual and expect everything to be fun and easy and be served in a gold plate before them.
Anyway, to your question:
Download iExtractMP3.
This is an app that converts flash videos to mp3 music files.
The flash videos can be downloaded from safari. When you're in a youtube video, press CMD+Option (alt)+A. This will bring up the activity window of Safari. Search there for a big file (2mb-5mb, maybe even 10 or more), which will be the video. Then you can drag&drop the file you want into the download window of safari (which I don't know the shortcut too, but you can open it from the tools or something).
Ok. Your file started downloading. Now convert it with iExtractMP3.
