That is really an old topic, is DGVPG. If you want, do a search on the DGVPG to about three months ago.

I still find it hard to forget.

Now I'm not sure if I find it harder to forget the changes as a result of the DGVPG, or the number of complaints that aroused from it. :p

The DGVPG was a consolidated effort by the early demi-gods to get people to contribute. Though it had good intentions it soon got out of hand and began to piss everyone off until arn intervened.

Duke, it's not as if the MacRumors Memorable Moments thread gets a lot of attention, compared to the "poll"pulated Community Thread, when there were polls allowed. :D

hitman, if you are going to refer to the fun bullsh**ting from some time ago, at least address the correct page(s). :eek:

And I think krossfyter also enjoyed the bullsh***ing before you came in, hitman. :p

I'm am by far one of the more tame individuals when it comes to this sort of thing - I just happen to be good at it.

This was a very strange server burp a day or so after MWSF.

Apparently Royal Pinapple posted a thread about his thoughts of the expo, but somehow it got crossed with a post that the now banned spikey made over a year ago.

Off the top of my hairline, the closest-related "spam thread" vefore the stempede of the geeks occured when the forums were much less populated and 100+ post threads were scarce. Remember the travis thread from a while back? It received over 200 posts.

Oh, and eye had some fun in there as well. :p

i think the introduction of macfan and ovi coming into the political forums have been memorable...man, so many posters jumped all over them for possibly their conservative views

but when bttm speaks up with similar conservative views, people don't dump on him

No, I'm not a mod. If nothing else, I don't really spend enough time here for that (plus I'm probably a little too erratic :)). I'm just a demi-god. My point was, being a mod is something only those who care about the site (ie. those who contribute) get to become.
