I'm looking for a digital camera for my family and I have looked at a lot of products and I was just wondering what a good small sized camera that's got at least 5x zoom and at least 5mp. All forunder about $350. And maybe also a raw image compatable camera. Which should I get?

I would probably look at the Panasonic Lumix line of cameras. But honestly, I don't think you're gonna find anything you like at that price line. Maybe used.

Possibly the LZ2 http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/panasoniclz2/
Retails for less than $300, but has fairly limited manual control and no RAW that I know of.

I just picked up a Canon PowerShot A95 and have been quite impressed with it.

There are a few pictures from this camera in this thread:

It's not THAT small, but a perfect camera for you may be the Nikon Coolpix 5700. It's got an 8x zoom and 5 megapixels. It can be had relatively cheap ($304) at A & M Photo (but their accessory prices seem high, so that's how they get you--so buy accessories elsewhere!):

I tried to buy a camera from A&M. They pulled a bait and switch deal on me. They are a scam outfit. If you don't believe me, check out their reviews on google.
