Find Lost iPhone 4 without Find my iPhone enabled

Is there anyway to find my phone via GPS without having Find My iPhone enabled. I have the box so I have the serial number and IMEI. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Nope. that is what Find my iPhone is for.

I know you can do this with non-iPhones (track it after its been lost), but I don't know if this will work for the iPhone.

I have it on my iPhone 4 however my Dad is not as tech-savvy :-(

Very unfortunate. Did you try the usual things... Call the phone and listen for it to ring or look in the refrigerator to see if it was lost like a TV remote (still love ya' mom!).
