View Full Version : FS: Powerbook 15 inch G4 - needs a repair

I'm trying to unload my PowerBook and upgrade to a newer model. Here are the specs:

550 MHz G4 PowerBook
15inch
512MB Ram (256 Built-in + 256 Crucial)
30 GB hard drive
CD/DVD-ROM
2 USB ports/ 1 fire wire

There are some problems with it though. The battery is very inefficient. It could be dead or it could just need to be recalibrated.

The other problem is that the latch for the LCD screen is cracked. The screen still comes on and displays, but it's rather wobbly and definitely needs to be repaired.

I do not have the discs for an OS, but Panther is installed on it now. For the buyer, I could either wipe the entire HD or leave the current OS on there now.

I was really just posting this to see what kind of offers I was going to get. I realize by it being broken depreciates the value (duh). SOOOOOO......If I were to put a rough guess of what I'd be happy with, maybe $300 (or $330 shipped). But I'm also willing to negotiate.
