hi, i'm perhaps maybe considering selling my emac (specs later) because i've discovered how much i miss the portability of a laptop. i love the superdrive, the great screen, it's no speed demon but it's way fast for me, etc. etc. etc., i just want something i can move around this. i would use the proceeds+extra cash to buy an ibook but if i couldn't get very much i'd just save up for awhile and get a powerbook when the g5's come out. anyway, here are the specs:
1.25ghz PPC G4 processor (unsure of the number) with 512k l2 cache and 167mhz system bus
edit: ATI Radeon 9200 Graphics Card on 4x AGP bus
edit: USB 2 model, 3 usb 2 ports, 2 firewire, mini-vga out, audio out/in, ethernet, modem, built-in mic (i think that's it for ports unless there's some i'm missing)
768MB DDR 333 (PC 2700) RAM (256MB Apple, 512MB Rosewill) memory works perfect; no kernel panics or anything of the sort
80GB hard drive (7200 RPM, 2MB cache) Maxtor 6Y080L0
16x, dual-layer capable superdrive Pioneer DVR-108 with region-free, 12x video rip firmware (flashed from stock 117D)
Airport Extreme card and Bluetooth built-in
17" flat CRT max res 1280x960, also 1152x864, 1024x768, etc.
includes apple keyboard in great condition and apple mouse in great condition with a few scratches
clean install of panther and all install discs and airport disc
perhaps a license of office (i have 3 edu ones) if i can figure out how to get it on there and stuff...have no idea how to go about that.
no pics yet, just a feeler thread; would be awhile before it's saleable anyway.
