Does Tiger fix sleep?

Hello folks! Search is currently disabled on Apple Discussions, so ventured here hoping someone has an answer. Adaptec 8300 (Firewire 800 card) would not allow a PowerMac on Panther to deep sleep. Anyone knows if Tiger (hopefully) fixed this? Thanks.

I have a Belkin 3-port FW card, and yes, praise Steve, my PM G4 now sleeps.

Thanks! Looking forward to the upgrade. Currently stalled after PB revealed some of the apps I need everyday are broken.

sleep?

i dont if tiger helps your computer sleep but i know it kept me up all night trying to to fix the bugs...
