Do yall think now that Tiger is out, if Apple will start shipping new hardware with Tiger already installed? Cuz i am buying a PB soon, was just wondering.

Probably a couple of weeks or so before a Tiger install image for each product is fully tested and ready, and then around a week for it to filter through the supply chain.

The store I work at put copies of Tiger in all Mac hardware boxes, but we did not install them.

Could someone either confirm or add to this?

I'm in the same situation, i.e., I'm waiting to get confirmation that I'll receive Tiger with the PowerBook before ordering it.

Seeing as how I want/need to order it ASAP, any contribution to this would be greatly appreciated.
