new eMacs (1.42GHz) and iMacs as expected (2.0GHz)

the eMacs now have a proper graphics card so they'll do the ripple-dashboard effect and stuff.

iMacs have built in bluetooth 2.0 and airport too, which is well generous

interestingly, the usa store says the new eMacs are dual layer (superdrive) and the UK store does not

no iSight Buy One Get One Free lol

Damn! Nice stuff! I just bought my iMac 20" with bluetooth back in early March and now I'm feeling like I made a big mistake not waiting for this update.

Is bluetooth 2.0 new? Do I have bluetooth 1.0? What is the advantage?

Could someone kindly list as to all of the differences in the new 20" vesus the 20" I have? Man on man I really wish Apple could come out with a DIY video install kit that would bump the graphics in mine from 64mb to 128mb.

What do you guys think? Should I try and sell my iMac and buy the new one?

Man this makes my iMac which I thought kicked ass... obsolete. Well in a way.

I spent almost $2300 on my iMac when I could have spent $1800 now for one even better. So I look at it, I blew $500 and have a machine that isn't as good. :(

I'm going to go have a little cry now. :p

Seriously though, this sucks. - for me.

it happens. you've stiill got an amazing machine tho, capable of so much, and u dont have to use windows! u could show it off to a windows fool and sell it to them for loads, tell him its the latest one lol

it is gutting tho when that happens. i still wish i had ur iMac tho

Thanks for the positive feedback. What computer do you have?

My job could possibly be bringing in an unexpected $3,000 within the next couple of months. Mabye I will invest $2,000 of that in the new iMac! Right now I have a PC on the other half of my desk. I could rip that sucker out of there and put another iMac in it's place! Two 20-inch iMacs on one desk, heh.

It just might be possible. Although, what would I do with two other than the "coolness" of it? Haha.

i bought the eMac a year ago, 80GB Superdrive, 1.25GHz and ive loved everyminute of owning it. think i'll upgrade t the iMac G6, when it arrives, althought hat maybe be ages. so maybe a 2.5GHz iMac G5 bundled with 10.5

It's on their site. Go to their home page and click on the box for the iMac and in there you will find a picture of the box.

What do you guys think? Should I blow my bonus on a new iMac 20" 2Ghz which then I would have two 20" iMacs on my desk or should I wait until the next iMac revision which would be a G6 processor or Mac OS X 10.5?

just wait. you're machine is awesome. if u really want to play halo, buy a used xbox. your mac does everything u ever need it to do and more.

plus halo and halo 2 are the most overrated games ive ever played, owned, and finished with. halo 2 xbox is hot, but the games are crap
