hello,
i have a iMac G5 revA. this morning, all of a sudden, the iMac just powered off by itslef... like the power cord got pulled from the back. restarting it doesnt help. just keeps powering off.

i tried resetting the SMU and no luck. if i let it sit for a few minutes, it will reboot and get to the desktop, but a power down happens eventually.

i tried rebooting in verbose mode, and i found this : " AppleSMU shutdown cause= -122 ". don't know what this means.

this seems like a power or overheating issue.

any ideas? all insight is appreciated.
