Comment: Okay...I really shouldn't like this song. I just can't help myself. There's something mystical about the mixture of angry metal, Glenn Danzig (who's so muscular it's surprising he can enunciate), and that almost Elvis-like singing voice of his. You can't really take a band too seriously when they have album names like "Thrall-DemonSweatLive," but I can't help but singing along when I hear "Mother." Although, ahem, as much more of an emo boy, I'm pretty sure I'd get beat up if I went to a Danzig concert.

I've seen them perform live once, it was a very good concert. I share your feelings about them, not sure if I like them or dislike them. However, their contribution to the rock/metal genre is significant, no doubt about that.

Ahhh... a golden oldie :)
I love the song, but I'm not nuts about his music in general.

Yeah, this song is awesome. I found out a couple weeks ago that Glenn Danzig lives right down the street from me, his house looks very Danzig-like.

That's incredibly scary...now you've piqued my curiosity, to know what a house that's very Danzig-like is... Hmmm.... Yeep! And how one would feel safe living next to one! :D

Oooh, no. Glenn is major celebrity-deathmatch material. *goes to search* :D

Considering that the song is a literal in its meaning, I would assume that an album title of "Thrall-DemonSweatLive" would be mundane compared to the other album titles in the Danzig discography.
I think I know what I will be listening to in my truck on my way to work tomorrow :D

He was in a fist fight some time ago and it was caught on video, but now I can't find it online. Anyways, you didn't miss much.

I read about it though (just now). Sounds like he seriously wigged out. Doesn't sound like it'd be fun to watch anymore anyway. :(

I remember seeing Danzig support Metallica in 1988, they were awesome (Metallica weren't bad either).
I saw them (him) again last year (or the year before) and he was pants.
They were so completely blown off the stage by the support band (Orange Goblin) it wasn't even funny.

After the Danzig 4 album Glenn started producing crap. It doesn't surprise me that the show sucked. When Chuck Biscuits and John Christ left the band the music itself started sucking.
