Help with a Sony bravia system!

Hello,

I have been using my SONY Bravia Dav-F200 for over a year now, has worked flawlessly. However, just now we decided to refurbish our flat, and now when I connect the cables I cannot seem to get the sound from my Samsung TV to play through the speakers of the SONY system, like it used to... what could be wrong?
