I've had this issue for over a year now, it's been examined "professionally" over 10 times at this stage, yet it's still unresolved.
Problem: Wifi works when directly beside router. However, 3-5 meters away it drops completely and won't pick up. Similar problem at school except for the routers are stronger so I get a bit more range, but not much, nowhere near acceptable.
Tried Solutions: Installation of new airport card, reinstalling OS (10.7), antennae fully checked and tested (and even swapped)
