I know there are a few threads on headphones, but I am asking for something a bit different. I use my headphones at work but need to also be able to hear my surroundings somewhat (aka no in ear headphones). Since I keep the volume so low sound quality is really not a concern. I just want some cheap ($10 or less shipped) earbuds with volume/track control. Previously I had used some $5 iphone earbud knockoffs I had found when browsing slickdeals a while back but they went through the washing machine.
