Single defect: One of the TWO FireWire ports will flow current but not flow data. The other port is unaffected. I have considered this in the pricing.

Oh no... not at ALL. This is an excellent buyer and a really nice guy. I am glad that he made a profit on the deal - he deserved it.

OT slightly but I'm curious, because i've seen a number of iMacs being sold lately that say the firewire ports are dead or dieing...

Is there a defect with the iMacs? Is it possible theres just some gunk/grime on the contacts that need to be cleaned off? Just curious.

I really have NO idea about cleaning the ports... I know this was the Rev. A of the G4 iMac and that might have something to do with it. Nothing else is wrong with it.
