Jailbroke my 3GS(old bootrom) to iOS5 with sn0wbreeze-v2.8b8, successfully synced and functional. (restored from backup, not "new iphone")
Everything seems to be working at this point.
Then I launched Cydia, Preparing Filesystem (cydia will exit when complete), and then it went back to Home screen without any default icons (settings, phone,contacts,camera,cydia,message,etc are missing).
Tried to do search for these, not able to return anything. But my phone is still able to receive call.
Pressed power+home to reset = still no default icons.
Any idea why?
