Goodreader in iCloud? How does this work?

I love Goodreader on the iPad and use it for all of my .pdf reading. I see it is now updated to support iCloud? Has anyone tried this yet? I put a file in the iCloud folder, but it didn't upload to iCloud. Does this just back it up without allowing me to access the file there?
