I'm just curious, how do people who buy iPhone 4S off craigslist activate their phones? When I tried to activate, it asks for last 4 digit of social and billing zip code.

The person should have activated it once before selling it. iPhone's shipped require billing info to activate the first time.

Someone on here recommended a while ago that if you buy/sell an iPhone on CL, to meet up with the other party at the AT&T/Verizon/Sprint (as appropriate) store - so that you can take care of any activation issues on the spot. Struck me as good advice.
